Evgenia Hadjiloizou
Evgenia Hadjiloizou is a holder of a BA in History and Archaeology (History path) (2010) and a MA in Byzantine Studies (2012) from the University of Cyprus. Her MA thesis dealt with the social and economic data deriving from the private documents of the cartulary of the Lemviotissa monastery. She currently works as a researcher in the program “Continuity and change in the perception of natural space, the land use and settlement in Byzantine Eastern Mediterranean (6th - 13th centuries). Reappraisal of the cases of Southern Balkans and Asia Minor from an interdisciplinary approach” (University of Crete, University of Cyprus). Her research interests focus on Byzantine history and, particularly, on aspects of byzantine society and culture.
